Trusting His path, one step at a time
Hello! So, this is my first blog post ever, and I'm so excited to be finally going live that I don 't know what to say. My name is Jody, and the Lord has put such a burning desire in my soul to share with the world what His Word and His design say about our health that there's no way I can stop from talking about it. Not that I've really tried, but the desire simply never goes away no matter what is going on in my life. When I've gotten distracted, He brings someone into my life to motivate and encourage me. He has given and continues to give me the knowledge and wisdom He wants me to share. I'm the type of person that wants everything to be perfect before I start, which means nothing would ever get started! So I'm starting the Kingdom Health website and Facebook pages small; trusting that the Lord will grow them in His timing for His purpose. I've also learned that it is in the process that things are perfected. It is the input and feedback and growth that we experience on the journey that adds to and refines the message He gives us to preach and teach.
You can read my testimony on the About page, so I won't go into that. Right now I just want to say welcome and Jesus loves you! My first real blog posts will be going into depth about each of the seven Kingdom Health principles about what God's word says about health. I'm going to shoot for posting once a week on Monday. After that, I'll start expanding the website and blogging about it accordingly.
The Lord has allowed me to practice and grow Kingdom Health within the safe and supportive confines of our church, Hope Church in Wichita, KS. My husband, Michael, and my family and our church family have been so amazing on this journey. They have encouraged me in uncountable ways. They have been the guinea pigs for me teaching and developing the principles and lessons of Kingdom Health. Some of them have even allowed me to walk alongside them on their personal health journeys. God is so good and neither I nor anyone else can ever really thrive in this world as children of His kingdom without a church family. Thank you! I love you each!
Also, I realize the way this post looks is really boring. Hopefully soon I'll figure out how to make it more visually appealing and add pictures and all that fun stuff!

I'd say that's pretty good for a first post! Praying for your mission.
